Concrete coatings we install
Every floor we do starts the same way: we diamond-grind the concrete, test it for moisture, and repair cracks, so the coating bonds into the slab instead of sitting on top. What goes on next depends on the room and how you use it.
Around Tyler and East Texas, garage floors are where most people start, but the same concrete coatings work in shops, barndominiums, mudrooms, game rooms and covered patios. We'll recommend the system at your free visit after we've seen the slab.
- Epoxy floors: a hard, sealed surface that wipes clean, used as the base of most of our systems.
- Flake floors: colored vinyl chips broadcast into the base coat. They hide dust and imperfections and add a little grip.
- Metallic epoxy: a seamless, poured look with depth and movement, for rooms inside the house.
- Polyaspartic topcoats: a clear coat that typically cures faster and resists yellowing in the sun, on our Premium systems.

Floors here face humid air, clay soil that moves, long hot summers and afternoon sun through an open garage door. Those are the conditions that make store-bought epoxy peel and cheap topcoats turn yellow. We test every slab, check the temperature and dew point on install day, and move the date if the weather isn't right.
